Rejuran S is a sister of Rejuran Healer. Rejuran contains polynucleotide, the building blocks of skin cells that help improve skin physiology by assisting with skin repair and collagen stimulation. These highly purified long chain polynucleotides have a high water binding capacity and viscoelasticity that is suitable for reconstruction and improvement in the appearance of your skin. It induces collagen synthesis and healing of the skin structure. It also acts like a filler to fill up sunken scars.Rejuran s can work together with fractional resurfacing lasers (such as CO2, clear and brilliant) to target depressed acne scars. It builds on the ability of polynucleotide in plumping up depressed scars by creating a three-dimensional scaffold for collagen formation.Rejuran s is a more viscous form of Rejuran Healer. It has the same polynucleotide concentration as Rejuran Healer, but due to the higher viscosity, it is able to plump up depressed acne scars not amenable to laser treatment alone. This is usually done in conjunction with subcision treatment.Common side effects may include mild swelling or redness over injection sites which is temporary.Similar to Rejuran Healer, full effects of treatment will take time. Generally speaking, at least 3 treatments are usually required to produce a visible and more lasting effect.Most patients will require 3-4 treatments at monthly intervals, or until the appearance of the scar is satisfactory.
